Every single day, my incredible friend Nikki pours her heart, time, and resources into saving dogs in the Rio Grande Valley — dogs who are abandoned, neglected, and often forgotten. She’s out there day and night, rescuing them from dangerous situations, getting them vetted, finding them safe foster or forever homes, and giving them a second chance at the life they deserve.
Even when it means using her own money, running on no sleep, and carrying the emotional weight of it all — she never stops. Because every single life matters. 💛
