Short and Sweet
Treats will now be baked over the weekend and shipped out first thing Monday morning. If your order is received before Thursday at midnight then it will be baked over the weekend and sent to you first thing Monday morning. If your order is made after midnight on Thursday then it will be baked the next weekend and shipped the following Monday morning.
What?
Treats will now be baked over the weekends instead of on a per-order basis. In an effort to keep the treats rolling out of the oven while also balancing life as a busy family, we here at WildWolfePack Treats will be moving to a new formal timeline for ordering, baking and shipping treats. The goal is to concentrate baking to a set few days over the weekend and get all orders shipped at the beginning of the week.
When?
This new bake/ship process will be in place starting January 1st 2023 and will be continued until further notice.
Why?
Our primary concern is always quality and making sure your furry friend gets the best treat possible. With that in mind, we have a couple goals we hope to accomplish with this change including:
- Improve freshness by reducing the amount of time packages are sitting in shipping trucks over the weekends
- Improve freshness by reducing the amount of time leftover treats from a batch are sitting waiting for a new order. Baking a batch immediately after a single order is made typically results in the extra treats in the batch sitting and waiting for a new order
- Better work life balance to allow us to keep up with both treat baking and those unescapable parental duties 😜
How?
Orders Taken: via the website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In order to have your order baked over the upcoming weekend and shipped the following Monday, you need to have your order placed via the website by Thursday at midnight.
Orders Baked/Packaged: Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Orders Shipped: Monday morning
Product Quantities: every Thursday at midnight, the quantities for each product will be reset to the maximum number we can make in the upcoming week. Again, this gets back to our business goals mentioned above focusing on increasing freshness and finding work/life balance.
